Utilizing mounting locations on tire carrier

1 Attachment(s)
My OR Fab tire carrier has mounting locations for jerry cans and a hi lift jack. Well since I am using the rotopax carrier by Desert Snake Off Road and my hi lift is on my hood via ACE billet hi lift mounts. I picked up some quick fist clamps and mounted a shovel and full size axe. There are also holes on either side which will be used for a CB antenna and a rear facing 60 degree diffused Rigid Dually(which are not on yet). Here is the pic, I think it turned out awesome.

Awesome.....I did basically the same thing...my carrier was with Rotopax and I have my Hi-Lift on my bull bar (front bumper)...so a shovel got mounted.......might have to throw an ax on there when I hit the trails too! :thumb:

Do you know what size bolts? I want to mount my Hi-Lift, although that looks sweet with the axe and shovel. Thanks.

I believe they are 3/8 course threaded bolts.

I attached my Hilift to the top set of holes and then attached some quickfists to the hilift for my pooper scooper. It's not ideal, but the lower set of holes isn't usable with the Rotopax mounted. I used all thread instead of bolts, then put washers and nuts on to secure the jack. This way I could use the Hilift knob lock to make sure someone doesn't run off with my jack.

Nice!! I have the same setup, and you are right, the lower holes are worthless for a HiLift. Thanks, looks great!!
