Soft Top Advice, etc.
Hello all! Just bought out first jeep last month, a 2012 Unlimited. Loving it! I need some advice if you don't mind. We have 3 priorities as far as upgrades are concerned.
1) Soft Top. We have the Freedom Top, but love the idea of being able to drive around all summer and drop the top on a whim. Plus....it's a JEEP! I want one that will last. Thoughts/suggestions on this one?

2) Amazingly rugged floor mats. We have 2 kids who play baseball/softball 8-9 months per year and we get things DIRTY. Suggestions?
3) The stock stereo sound slightly worse than a wet cardboard speaker with a giant hole in it. I'm going to get an after-market sub kit and throw some passive crossovers on the door speakers. Have any of you had any experience with either of these?

Thanks everybody. A hearty Jeep wave and Merry Christmas to all of you!!!!
A hearty :wavey: and Merry Christmas to you also! Lovin the screen name too. I'll just comment on the soft top, as I have more experience in that field. I would consider checking out your local Craigslist for a new or used Mopar soft top. You can easily get them new for <$600. I got my new in box ( but a couple years old) soft top for $220! I see them listed all of the time around here. If you're not into that, the Bestop will suit your needs very well.
The Supertop NX is a great top. Many prefer the look of the Trektop NX as well (which is a less pricey option).

Floor mats, the Rugged Ridge ones are the best out there and fit great.

I love the Select Increment line as well. Made stateside and great sound systems.

Chris......I have to ask you. How can you be so much cheaper than some of the bigger box houses?
When you stock a lot of product and when do certain volume levels, you get a better discount. Just try to pass along the savings to fellow Jeep enthusiasts. :)
