Greetings form the first Capitol!

Well I guess I ought to do this and make it official. Name here is mike aka: NiteDog. I own a 1995 YJ, bought in 98. Originally black with spice interior and top, 2.5L, and 5 speed ax5. Nothing special October 2004 I lifted it, straightened the frame, replaced a fender and instead of painting it black I found this really cool pearl blue paint chip used on Corvettes.

L.E.D. taillights and side makers were custom made and I cut them in. Decided I like the TJ side gas fill and bought the parts to do that mod, but after seeing several guys in York already did that one. I opted to cut the filler door and hardware out of an XJ and cut it instead. The only thing I didn't get done was to 'French' in the radio antenna like the street rodders do. By that time I was tired of working on it and was anxious to get back on the road.

I still have a list as long as my arm. ;) So one project at a time I'll get there.

The bad part is we all know they aren't done until they are sold! :D

Looks great! Sounds like you are quite the body guy! Well, have fun with your Jeep and make sure to keep us updated with any progress that you make on your list! Oh yeah, and welcome to the site!

Mike that YJ looks great! Amazing color Almost too pretty to take out and scratch! Good to have another set of square headlights around! Welcome to the forum.

Thanks folks for the welcome.
Believe it or not this was my first resto job. I had a good friend in the business who is my "coach". He lets me hang out at his shop and play with the toys. Next project in the works is a frame up resto for my son. He is 14 but I told him he can't drive until he knows the basics. So we are looking for a Wrangler for him to play with for the next couple of years. (also to give dad a little more time to recover from this one ;) )
