Anyone have suggestions for plugs and wires? Not sure if anyone has had problems with certain manufacturers of plugs and wires or if they have experienced problems replacing them. I plan to due the rotor and cap too but those are pretty standard.
Also what gas mileage are people getting? I am running 31s on stock susp. i am lucky if i get 15mpg drafting truckers to school and work.

No matter what I do, I only get about 15mpg. Same deal - 31's on stock susp.
At $3.00/gal, I'm not making much driving 200 miles a day for work.

Intake an exhaust will make a difference and increse it a bit but then you will have a harder time not stepping on it which will make it even worse.

yea i plan on doing an entire exhaust in the spring and possibly a cold air intake. Save up money this winter to buy toys in the spring.

check out my intake and exhaust setup. I made it all my self and the final cost for the intake was about 40-50 bucks. My exhaust.. 50 delta from ebay.. 80-90 bucks and i found a nice 2.5" L shaped pipe and used that as a tail pipe for my exhaust.

what did you use for painting your flares? Had any problems? Any way of color matching? I have a red 98 but tan interior. i intend to paint the flares body color and then get clear turn lenses. I also wanted to paint the dash and door panels to black and do the vents red. I haven't come across anything yet to handle that sort of abuse between the heat and cold and normal abuse of a jeep.

Actually found that replacing the existing clutch based fan with an electric one has given me the biggest boost so far. Didn't pay attention enough to have real numbers, but did notice an immediate improvement after the install...

I used cheap dash paint that looked good but its not durable. I'm hearing great things about the krylon fusion paints. They are suppose to be the most durable paints out there (that i know of) for fender flares (plastics)
