New Jeep Owner in Flagstaff

Hi folks, My name is Scott and I just bought my first Jeep a few days ago. Just wanted to say Hi and see if anyone else was in Flagstaff or if anyone has some good winter trails in the area. Seems like the Forest Service closes most of their roads up here when the snow starts to fall.

The area around William's has roads and trails available during the winter. It should all be open right now since there is little or no snow. I'd recommend sticking to the main roads - once the snow starts to melt, the side roads get sloppy to impassable. Always Tread Lightly!

My jeep and I will go out and explore near the naval observatory :) take the 66 west and you'll see a sign a few miles out of town. It's on the right side, go under the I-40 bridge and it's a dirt road on your right. There are mail boxes. It's super fun to explore.
