trail-n YJ 01-25-2012 09:55 PM

I'm down to go if you guys are figuring a date, is it going to be a snow run?

Jason1348 01-25-2012 09:59 PM

Snow could be fun my son will be going in a xj does that bother anyone

heiser 01-26-2012 12:24 AM

what are the trails like? mine is a DD and i don't want to tear it up. it has a BB and 31x10.50x15 Goodyear MT/R's nothing big or special yet. i have done some trails in hummers in the Marines(early 90's) and played around in my chevy truck a little(late 90's). my 16 yr old son has never been except when we went on polaris 4 wheelers. i'm sure we would both enjoy it. i work a 7on 7off schedule. so if your ride falls on my days off and weekend for him you can count us in as long as my set up can handle the trails. please give me some feed back with your opinions.

Jason1348 01-26-2012 01:33 AM

Jason1348 01-26-2012 02:38 PM

Sounds like going be fun

heiser 01-26-2012 05:25 PM

Jason1348 01-26-2012 05:44 PM

trail-n YJ 01-26-2012 07:42 PM

Jason1348 01-26-2012 07:53 PM

Now we need snow lol

trail-n YJ 01-26-2012 08:03 PM

Yea I know right his weather is the most bipolar weather ever! Over in Washington it never snowed and I came her hoping for snow and now it's snowing like crazy! >:(

Jason1348 01-26-2012 08:07 PM

Im a ice fishermen and not sure we going get go this year

trail-n YJ 01-26-2012 08:16 PM

Really that's going to suck I love the snow... Well let me know I and when planing on making a trip

heiser 01-26-2012 09:54 PM

if we get snow that would be fine. i can't ever remember of such a mild january like this in ohio. lived here my whole life except for the 4 yrs i was in the marines. spring is fine also. i have no preference, though my work schedule would dictate my availability to go. i work 7 days on 7 off. switching out on thursdays. i just got off today so this weekend and every 2nd weekend after this is my free time. it's my first jeep, just bought it in early december. so it will be a fun learning experience.

Jason1348 01-26-2012 10:01 PM

Have make sure everyone has tow points hooks dring or what hope have my winch on soon

trail-n YJ 01-27-2012 10:13 AM

Jason1348 01-27-2012 02:03 PM

Do u have a aftermarket front bumper or just stock with winch

trail-n YJ 01-27-2012 06:46 PM

Aftermarket I tryed it out with stock bumper and a push-bar bu I didn't really like how it looked. Ive got a smittybuilt xrc bumper

Jason1348 01-27-2012 07:24 PM

What kinda winch im looking at a engo

trail-n YJ 01-27-2012 10:56 PM

Rugged ridge, 10500lbs. Winch it was around 400 bucks and I've heard from some pals in Seattle that there dependable (no like a warn of course) got and it has pulled me out of every ditch so far :)
