I just bought a Jeep and I noticed that if I turn the wheel all the way the tires rub on the leaf springs. The tires are Goodyear Wrangler with the dimentions of 31x10.50r15lt. I know that these aren't the stock tires but I think they are the stock rims. Any suggestion on what to do to solve this problem. I also want to add that the tires that are on the jeep now, have very low tread and are going to need to be replaced soon.

To fix this problem you either need wheel spacers or new wheels with a different backspacing. Getting new tires wont help unless you go back to stock size.

There is a stop on the passenger side knuckle that can be adjusted to limit the distance that your tires turn. It is just a bolt with a lock nut. Wheels or spacers will also fix your problem as banks316 mentioned. Back when I had 31's I put 1/2" spacers on and still had to adjust my steering stops a little.

Get new wheels with shallow back spacing. You can do spacers but it almost costs the same.

Get new spacers...that's what I did when I purchased my jeep... The 31 x 10's that the prior owner put on, rubbed. JC Whitney has them. I think I paid 79.00 per pair? Search on line for the best price.

I like the new time idea. I got some sweet time at discount tire, $80 a pop. I run 31s no rub ... My wife has 33s with spacers and they rub...

I would look into new tires an rims. I picked up a set of 4 33x12.5 on dick Cepek rims for around 1200$ from tire rack. Came mounted and balanced. Got home put em on no rub.

I just don't turn the wheel that far anymore. Works like a charm, and didn't hardly cost me anything.

regarding tire size
Hello everyone. First time on this forum & I am enjoying reading all this info. What's the largest & tallest tires I can fit on my stock rims.Everything is stock & I don't want to put a lift on it & change anything. 95 with 4.0 auto. thanks.
