Hi,

I'm an AAT crew member for Holcomb. From what I understand, they've had to perform a few rescues on that trail recently due to ice. Probably not a good idea. :( Lorie

how recently? we just ran gold mt last weekend is that any indicator to ice factor for holcomb?

BillG.OTD 01-11-2012 04:26 PM

Anybody been through dishpan springs lately?

A week..it's not closed; you could always go for it. Just thought I'd let you know. :) You can always call up there and inquire conditions on certain trails..

MNTNGOAT 01-11-2012 04:45 PM

coo coo ca choo. never ran it b4 up for anything still need someone to lead.

yomondo 01-12-2012 12:21 AM

I can give you a GPS track and waypoints if you want it. But you still at least need someone to go with you.

Went thru dishpan last weekend, there was some ice, it was pretty thick, tj didnt even bust thru, but the trail was fine.

MNTNGOAT 01-12-2012 06:54 PM

wheres pilot rock? cleghorn backwards? then next weekend holcomb/dishpan?

turdhurdler 01-12-2012 07:06 PM

Pilot rock is a fun run that goes from the Lake Silverwood Dam towards Lake Arrowhead. Has some fun techinical trails and offshoots to play on. Very recommended. Bill and I did it a few weeks back and had a blast.
