5 wheels jeep wrangler rubicon

I have for sale 5 Jeep wrangler Rubicon wheels. The wheels where made on 11/22/05. All are in great shape. None are bent and have minimal scratched. They have valve stems but no core to the stems. They are 17x9 but 16's fit. That's what I had on them. New they run over 200$ a piece but Im asking 600$ for the 5. I live in Alpharetta Georgia and am willing to meet you half way if your not too far. Thanks

Here's a little help for you. Let me know when they sell and I'll delete them.

did I read that right? you had 16" tires on 17" rims?? Seriously?

Scoob 01-11-2012 06:49 PM

Well since they were made in 05 they are TJ rubicon rims. They are 16x8 with a 5" backspace.

I though 06 was the only year the wheel had that extra lip? And they are 16's being on a Tj

Ask how I know :)

A wheel made in 11/06 would only be going on a 2006 Rubi :)

I thought that they were 16x8 too. But I mesured here's proof. The factory tires are for a 16 what's going on here?

the 16x8 isn't measured from the lips of the rim.
It will be 8 inches from the inside of 1 lip to the inside of the other lip.
The 16 is measured the same way, you don't include the bead area when you measure the height.

So these will or won't fit a 99 TJ 30/35 setup?
