Got the new tires just in time, unlifted 33's on 2dr JK inside..

First things first, HUGE props to Discount Tire Direct. Travis and Wyatt got me completely hooked up. Wound up buying some some Duratrac 33x12.5/15 mounted on MB72s for $1425 to my door. Got a $100 Tread Lightly discount coming too so I'm thrilled with pricing. Making it better, I ordered late on Wednesday and my stuff was sitting here when I got home Thursday. Literally less than 24 hrs from order to delivery!!!! Woohoo!!!!

Mounted them all up last night with the help of my 14 year old daughter who wanted to learn how to change a tire (pretty cool when I've got three sons sitting inside with no interest, you go girl!). Anyway, the MB72's fit right up to the JK with no clearance issues at all just as Travis has indicated.

Truly a fantastic buying experience and I couldn't be happier with the choice of tire/wheel. I'll let you all be your own judge as far as how they look but for me, I'm thrilled. I also swapped my hardtop for the soft top with a local forum member just this week so I am pretty pumped on how things are coming along. Next up, some type of small lift/level. I'm actually thinking of just doing some JKU springs with 3/4" spacers on the front for a little lift and level at the same time.

Enough chitter chatter, here's a few pics. Started snowing about an hour after install. Just in time as these Duratracs did awesome in the snow. can't wait to get them muddy now!

Man, looks great! :thumb:

I too am a soft top only guy. And the DuraTracs rock in the snow...as I'm sure you've already discovered.

Namaste!

Thanks! Yeah, much happier in the soft top. I know that doesn't make sense to some but I guess if you love the soft top, you just do. Definitely right about the Duratracs in the snow, like driving in 4Lo with those things on!

Thanks Terry! Appreciate the kind comment. I told her that she is now riding shotgun next month when we go wheeling...she can't wait!

here's what she looked like at the dealership not that long ago (I like her much better now!)...I may need to reinstall the steps since my little guys are having a tough time climbing in. Cant even imagine the trouble they'll have when the thigns gets a little lift.
