Just bought my first Jeep for my wifes birthday. A very clean no rust all original 1993 YJ Wrangler S with 124K miles. Have started doing some minor additions and basic maintenance but am hoping to learn alot from you guys on how to keep it going. I am a fair wrench and dont mind getting dirty. This is not our daily driver so I hope to spend more Saturdays on the trails rather than in the garage.

Howdy!
Welcome aboard.
Enjoy the forum. :)

Not only is it a treasure-trove of information and experience, but it's also a damn nice group of folks.

I'm on lots of forums, and this is BY FAR the friendliest, most welcoming group I've ever encountered.

I guess it's a JEEP thing. Lol

Wave. :)

What you got hiding under the hood? What ever you got YJs are great, just remember it's hip to be square! :thumb:

Plenty of room to hide under there with the original stock 2.5 liter 4 banger that runs great and consistently gets 17 MPG.

20 miles East of Dallas. I have seen youtube videos of this place you speak of in Gilmer. Is it open to the public?

as long as you are willing to pay, it's open. They are really good about marking the trail levels/difficulty too.
