Any Trails you guys would recommend?? **Newb**
 
Hey guys I have a 2012 Rubicon I'm looking to go on some trails on Sunday.

My brother will we coming with me.

He has a TJ w/ a 4" lift and we both have winches.

I don't have much off road experience so I would like to start small then do harder trails as time unfolds.

Where would you guys recommend?

China Wall is a nice winter trail (discussed in the thread right below this one)...some of the others are going to be way too dangerous to do in the winter. Slaughterhouse Gulch is another nice winter trail but its currently impossible to make at the moment. I did it all the way through 2 weeks ago then went back to it last week and could only do a 1/3 of it because of the ice.

I did the goose creek rd/trl today. It is very easy w/high range. It's about 20 miles all the way through. Take the road that goes to Cheeseman resv. at the top turn right and then the next right FS 211. Goes through the Hayman fire. Comes out just north of Lake George on the Terryall Lake road. If you turn left you hit Hwy 24 in a short distance. If you go right you hit Hwy 285 at Jefferson (20 miles). Spectacular country take your camera.

We did Goose Creek Road.

It was a good trail and beautiful scenery.
