Gives the 'ol JK a look of grim determination.

4fit 01-22-2012 05:27 PM

Looks good. Don't see the Wild Boar grill too often. Are those the new metal version of the RC end caps?

Ballandchain 01-22-2012 05:27 PM

Is that a new whole new grill or a add on the the existing grill? **EDIT** I see now how the grill slots are shortened so I'm guessing a whole new assembly.......

sunnykk 01-22-2012 05:31 PM

Love it. Gives it a meaner look.:thumb:

JK-Junky 01-22-2012 05:36 PM

Matt finish looks great with the white and the black fenders. Really gives it an aggressive appearance.:thumb:

basecamper 01-22-2012 05:54 PM

Definitely different

BRADWRANGLER2011 01-22-2012 08:11 PM

It looks good with the jeep being white..

Terex 01-22-2012 08:20 PM

Someone copied the Steve McQueen Mustang eyebrow look. Maybe it will show up in Cars III.

dabolt55 01-22-2012 08:29 PM

Looks good ,:thumb: just has a pissed off look, don't want to see that in my rear view mirror lol...

Thanks! No plans for flat fenders just yet.

Raziel 01-23-2012 08:55 AM

That is SWEEEEET!!!!!!!!

real4x4 01-23-2012 09:18 AM

It's too bad you lose the 'Jeep' logo with the new modded grill. The headlight trim is the best....IMO

Overtrained 01-23-2012 11:36 AM

Liking that a lot. Bumper looks great, how did you do it?

bwittarch 01-23-2012 01:29 PM

Looks great!
Some clear turn signal lenses would finish the look IMO!

Xnewyorka 01-23-2012 03:24 PM

looks like it needs to be chewing on a cigar...nice mod!

Hilldweller 01-23-2012 03:43 PM

What's the purpose?
Just cosmetic?

shieldze1025 01-23-2012 04:14 PM

I like it! I did my shorty stock bumper already, and made flat fenders from the stocks, but I've been thinking of doing the black grill.

I approve!

RedBones 01-23-2012 04:53 PM

I like it!

You could take the stock logo and apply it to the new grille pretty easily. Just a little 3M tape should do the trick.

It's a Rough Country bumper kit. Easy to do. Do a search on here for details.

 This statement confuses me. What "Steve McQueen Mustang" are you referring? If it is the '68 from the move Bullitt, there is no eyebrow look on that car.

And, yes, I know this is off topic. But I had to ask.

Terex 01-23-2012 07:48 PM

The designer of the "new" (2005) Mustang was from Vietnam and, as a child, was thrilled by Steve McQueen and his Mustang in the movie "Bullitt".

“We had our engineers work on tuning the exhaust system in the power plant to deliver that soundtrack, if you will,” says Thai-Tang. “Bullitt” star Steve McQueen even inspired the car's face. McQueen’s image stared down at Thai-Tang and his team from a poster in the design studio. “That scowl on his face was actually the inspiration for how we executed the headlamps. We pushed them back underneath the hood and the brow of the car, to give it a very menacing look,” says Thai-Tang.
