2001 wrangler se fuel consumption

I just bought this Jeep and I am a little concerned about the fuel economy. I am at about 5/8's of a tank and have only gone about 75 miles. How many miles Can I expect to get on a tank? At this rate I'm guessing 200. Geez, No bueno.

What size engine, tires, gears? All of witch will play a factor in MPG.

You know geno, I just bought the Jeep and it's the first one I've owned so I don't know much about it... it's the 2.4 liter with standard size all terrain tires. Gears, not sure. It does have an air raid cold air intake with a throttle body spacer. 85 k on her.

I have 1998 2.5 L. When I had everything stock I would get around 230. I know for my jeep the gas gauge ain't all that accurate, it will jump down quickly. It sometimes says I'm empty but I know I still have a few gallons left in it. Next time you fuel up check on how many gallons you put in. Your jeep should have a 15 gallon tank so maybe it might say you are empty but you still have some gas in there. I know my jeep gets around 15 MPG. But I also 31 inch tires. So if your expecting to get great MPG on your Heep then you got the wrong car.
