socal newbie looking for jeep shop!

Been driving my '12 JK sahara since last august and im loving every bit of it! Now i've finally decided to pull the trigger and start modding. I know that many of you guys do the mods yourself; however, i lack the tools and the skills:doh: Anyone can suggest me a reliable shop in the LA area that i can go to?

thx a lot!

If Corona isn't too far, there's a shop there right off the 91 that is known for their honesty and ability to do anything humanly possible to a Jeep. I bought a used Jeep transmission from the owner and he went above the call of duty to make sure I was happy with the deal even weeks after he had my $$$.

What's the name of the shop? I'm in the downtown area so it's a little bit far. thx a lot tho

All 4Wheel Drive. John Lemieux at 951-277-1037. John owns a shop you can trust to not take advantage of you, it'd be worth the short drive for you.

Jerry, I will give them a call as well. I assume by the name, they install lockers & axles etc.. Thx

Well, for locker and gear installs, there's always Off Road Evolution in Fullerton or JC Fab in Sylmar

Thanks for the info, I will keep them in mind. The Corona location was closer to the IE and I figured if Jerry was real happy w them, might be worth checking them out. I have had work done at 4 Wheel parts and dont have any real complaints, but it can be hit and miss depending on who works at the particular location. The guy that helps me came from 4 west in Colton and is pretty knowledgable. They are not always the cheapest and always push the house brands. Thx

Can anyone recommend a good Jeep shop in the San Diego area? I've also got a 2012 and want to do whatever needs to be done to avoid front end troubles. I live in a hi-rise with no garage. Also may look into some mods. Thanks!

When I mentioned above they can do anything humanly possible to a Jeep, that includes the basics like installing lockers, gears, & axles. :)

I know all of the 4x4 shops in SD and one I trust is run by a friend I've known for 12-15 years who manages the Escondido Offroad Warehouse store and shop. They also have a shop on Balboa in SD but that shop isn't run by the founder's son who is a supportive and honest a guy as you'll meet as their Escondido store is I'm recommending. Take a run up to Escondido and ask for Wally, tell him I sent you and he'll take excellent care of you. Wally will take care of you after the sale/work too. They did some gear work for me years ago and when a problem occurred about a month later, they were extremely apologetic and took care of it without the least bit of hassle.

I only asked because some shops sub out work.

X2 RE: John at All 4 Wheel Drive in Corona. I won't let anyone else touch our Jeeps. He did our lockers, gears, axles, lift Etc.. He was 15% less than our local shops. (Here in O.C.) I am not so handy with a wrench and he knows it, when I have asked him to do work for preventitive reasons he often times tells me it's not needed instead of taking my money. It's a long drive to his shop but well worth it.

I have mentioned on here before as was recommended to me a while back. I have gone to Brothers 4 X 4 in Montclair where they do anything to Jeeps you may want. They are good, reliable, reasonable and good guys. They have a Website too that you can check out.

That's absolutely awesome. Thank you. I will take a run up there!

I had my lift installed by Socal Supertrucks in San Bernadino. Very happy with them.

I'm getting the 2012 3 piece skid from Off Road Evolution in the next few weeks. Probably have them install it. Anyone know a shop that's closer that carries their stuff?
