Sweet! Your jeep is awesome!! :thumb: I've got a couple that I'm keeping my eye on, a '98 and a couple '00s, they will probably be sold by the time I have the money to buy one but who knows! Maybe I'll stumble across one too when I'm able to buy, like you! And cool pink decal, is it a flower? It's too small on my screen to be able to tell lol :)

Whoa! haha that's crazy! Only a Jeep could handle all that for sure! :D Ran it though a van?? Dang! Sounds like you have one hell of a Jeep! :punk: And how do they do when they have been completely soaked on the inside? I was told by a friend that they are pretty much made to be hosed down on the inside, is it true? Did the rain cause any damage?

Yea the nice thing about the JK's you can go with a smaller lift than with the TJ and fit the same size tires.

I've been told not to buy a Jeep that has already been lifted because most likely the last owner ran the p*ss out of it. What do you guys think? I can see where it could be try but it may also not be

spy 02-07-2012 10:18 PM

My sister has a 04' Black Rocky Mountain Edition, I6 with a 5 speed, 4" lift, 33" G/Y Duratracs, black tube bumpers ...it's always spotless clean as she just plays with it in the sand dunes.

Lucky me the blackhawk has the gift of vinyl seats so it wasn't that bad after the rain but my butt was soaked but I didn't care it gave me another reason to go topless and doorless that week. As for sinking it when I went mudding.... I has about 5 inches of mud and water on the floorboards. I still had the rugs. And yes I pulled the plugs and hosed its down. As for the Honda she jump my lane and slammed on the breaks... Guess The blackhawk was hungry that day. Best vehicle I have ever owned I love it and will never sell it. You know what they ask what happens when it breaks..... We build it better!!

Yes and know I a few friends that have nice lifted jeeps but are scared to run them offroad. I also know some friends that have lifted rigs and take them to hell and back.

**waving** I finally bought the jeep of my dreams and been having the best time exploring and having everyone compliment her :) I added a black shifter knob with rhinestones across the top to add a little feminine touch to the inside and mark my territory for hubby..lol..im glad to finally be in a jeep!

Craigslist it. I got my Tj from C-List for 5k in Texas. I've sunk a few thousand into 'er, but thats why Jeep means Just Empty Every Pocket. We jus got my sister a 97 Sport with a Rubicon Package put in for 4k, found it on C-List up home in Wellsboro Pa.

PS, dealers are NOT your friend :whistling: and always wave! :wavey:

Ya, I mean it would be nice to get one that is already lifted so I don't have to mess with it but I'd rather not have one that's been to he'll and back haha. But maybe I'll just get one with nothing done to it so when I do modify it, I can say that I was the one who actually did it :)

You might want to verify your husband's man card is still valid. ;)

I think this is only the second time I've heard of a husband limiting Jeep add-ons. :D
