Buying Bestop Trektop NX

I decided I am gonna purchase the trektop nx. Cheapest I've found it so far is $541 from http://4wheelonline.com/jeep/Bestop_...ft_Tops.168960

Anyone get it cheaper?
Anyone deal with this company before?

Cheaper? Contact a forum vender with that price. At least a match with free shipping.
Maybe better... Who knows. That's a good price though. Great top.

RBarker63 02-13-2012 11:50 PM

Great idea

rics1997 02-13-2012 11:58 PM

I got mine cheaper at Jeepaddons. I know he will price match any place but they gave me a better deal up front and usually give forum members a discount. Just contact forum vendor JeepAddOns-Chris by pm. He is real helpful.

RBarker63 02-14-2012 12:07 AM

Just sent him a pm, hope he can help me out.

JKatfish 02-14-2012 12:40 AM

At that price and free shipping would be nice price...may order myself.

I ordered one from this company yesterday morning. They had the best deal but maybe you can find someone who has a better deal. Good luck.

4wheelin 02-15-2012 05:44 PM

I just bought one from Morris 4x4. They have a discount here on this forum (wranforum). Makes the $572 price down to $515. Add S&H and gets you back up around $580 to your door.

4wheelin 02-15-2012 05:48 PM

Oh, and if you do get the Trektop NX, here's great install instructions.

Thanks for the link on this. This is the top I decided on for my '12 JKR but haven't ordered one yet. Thank God I saw this thread before ordering from Q-tec. If anyone finds a better deal than this, would you please post it here? Also, 4wheelonline only lists 07-11 model years. It should be the same for a '12, right? Thanks for any input

check out streetsideauto.com I got mine in the $400's plus free shipping.

2011 4 door?

real4x4 02-15-2012 09:34 PM

2011 2-door, but it certainly wouldn't be that much of a difference.

Damn well I wish I got that deal

j0nx 02-16-2012 07:17 AM

Shipping is free though. I am seriously thinking about getting this top as well but I don't want the hassles of leaks and installing it and I don't have anywhere now to store my hard top. I have read a lot of reviews on these tops and there are a lot of complaints about them but it's so hard to rule out user error or top error...

real4x4 02-16-2012 08:01 AM

The Trektop NX (newest version) fixed alot of the problems that people experienced with the original (non-NX) version....in my opinion. The NX was just released in 2011 for the most recent Wrangler model years. Just make sure you do not get the original TrekTop because they are still out there for sale.

Iv got a trek top nx. Far exceeds oem soft top. No leaks, better looks. Bikini top conversion, tinted windows. Wonderful stuff. Looks great too.

Where do you see free shipping?

j0nx 02-16-2012 11:24 AM

Sidestreetauto is free shipping but it's cheaper at other places even including the shipping costs. So far $625 or so including shipping for a JKU top is about the best I've seen so far and that's on ebay.

The link at the very beginning of this thread is cheaper. About $580 shipped.

RBarker63 02-16-2012 11:39 AM

Just pulled the trigger and bought the top. Spoke with Joe from Quadratec and he price matched 4wheelonline.com total was $581 shipped to my door. I like Quadratec bc shipping takes 1 day to get to me and they always get my orders correct.

j0nx 02-16-2012 12:54 PM

Nice, man that's tempting. That's a steal for an entire soft top. If only I had a place to store my hard top and felt better about problems with this top that I am reading about...

golfpunks 02-16-2012 01:03 PM

Rbarker..

Is that for an unlimited?? Anything else needed to get the soft top installed!! I might get one also!! Thanks

MiltsJeep 02-16-2012 01:08 PM

That is a good price!

I spoke with a rep and the 07-11 will fit the 12. If you look at the mfr part number it is the same.

2011 unlimited. I was told by the Quadratec rep that nothing else is needed, everything comes with the top.

Yep...that's true. The Trektop is frameless and only uses the roll bars on the Jeep for support. Everything you need is in the box! :thumb:

(Except for a few tools, of course)

How does the front assemble? Does it come with a header channel?
