Oil change on 2012's

I was wondering how difficult it is to change the oil on the new 2012's. I like to do my own maintenance and have found some vehicles have the oil filters located in some interesting spots.

Have you opened the hood yet? :D

I ordered on 2/6, didn't think to look for the filter location then. Its not like it's a deal breaker I was just wondering.

Easiest and cleanest oil change I have ever done.

Ah sorry, I incorrectly assumed you already had your JK. Looking at that write up it looks like the easiest I've ever seen. When do you expect to have it delivered?

No worries bofa. I hoping for delivery around 4/1. Ya, the filter set up looks very nice in that video. Thanks to all for your input.

Very easy.

Wow, that does look super easy. I have a cartridge filter on my MINI Cooper and instead of the cap coming off, the entire piece around the filter comes off leaving a flat plate which means spillage. The way this one is done should keep the engine and your floor nice and clean.

Yeah, the Oil filter on my 09 MCS was not really hard to change but kind of aggro because of where its at.

Yup. I had a 10 JCW hard top and it was messier & more time consuming than the Jeep.
