GA Wrangler Forum Meet and Greet

Woo Hoo, we have a locals area now. Lets get to planning a GA ride..

Hilldweller 04-08-2008 10:12 AM

Not much enthusiasm, huh?
Well, I'll get mine next month and we'll rock this forum. We live in Jeep freakin' paradise, for God's sake.
I can't wait to hit the Cooper Creek area around Wolfpen Gap...
...do you go up there at all? I've been going up for years on motorcycles and Mini Coopers. But you really have to stay on the blacktop when you drive this:

This forum isn't very lively, is it?

tazmann910 04-15-2008 08:00 AM

Not this section of the Forum. Everywhere else..yes...the GA section...no.

Sorry I have been using the site and never noticed this page. I live in Social Circle which is I-20 east from Atlanta. I have an 07 Wrangler X and need some one to go ride with and show me where the trails are.

tazmann910 05-14-2008 01:35 PM

No worries, welcome.

Social Circle...damn..I worked at a restaurant and club called Cowboys in the Country our that way...

Have you thought about maybe joining a club? I have suggestions.

skeejunkee 05-14-2008 08:28 PM

Yes ! I am open to your thoughts.

Georgia Trail Runners (e-mail twice have not heard anything)
Georgia Trail Riders (found this one today)

tazmann910 05-16-2008 07:31 AM

Very kid friendly, I take my 9 year old son and 7 year old daughter with me all the time. On our last ride we called it the May Munchkin ride because we had a 9 year old, a 4 year old, and two 3 year olds.

skeejunkee 06-05-2008 09:49 PM

I was looking into the Georgia Bounty Runners and there are no new Jeeps, WHY? The newest was an 2003. I was planning on making the meeting but we are going on vacation and we head out on Saturday around noon. I will try to make the next meeting, shoot me an e-mail and I will try to make it.

tazmann910 06-06-2008 08:28 AM

That section of the website is old and out dated. We have a few members that have newer jeeps. Actually one of my very good friends has an 07 rubicon that he brings out on the trails.

Anyone coming to Augusta, if so hit me up. Always love to go and do some off-roading/mudding with other Jeeps.

tazmann910 06-11-2008 11:57 AM

Are there trails in Augusta?

Me and my friends usually go to new developments being built and ride on all the trails that are made. We also go on the power line trails and do some mudding whenever it rains. So yeah, there are a few places to go and ride around on.

tazmann910 06-12-2008 10:30 AM

Need to come on over to North GA to Beasley Knob in Blairsville...now those are some trails.

Skee - I am in a club based in Atlanta called the Georgia Bounty Runners. Check out the website at www.gbr4wd.com . We have a meeting the first saturday of the month and we go on rides the 3rd sunday of the month.

Our next meeting has been moved to July 12th because of the 4th of July weekend.

Coop, any time brother, any time..you just let me know and I can pull a few folks together to go ride up there.
