awsome ty im gonna look them up

Also how did u know that?

Owen_TJ 02-21-2012 12:15 AM

I look at a lot of jeep and motorcycle parts lol...

i think they're around 150 a piece

HebrewHammer 02-21-2012 12:17 AM

found them for $122 in 16x8 that was on Quadratec though i can find them cheeper

I wish i could find them in a 15x10

Owen_TJ 02-21-2012 12:21 AM

What size tire are you running??? An 8" rim is perfect up to 12.5 wide...

HebrewHammer 02-21-2012 12:24 AM

i wanted to run 35's but if its a 16 i guess i would run a 315?

Also i wanted that wide stance look to my jeep my 99 jeep i had 15x10 with 3.25in of BS and it was sweet

I guess if im gonna be doing more wheeling in this one i need to keep it a little narrower

Owen_TJ 02-21-2012 12:27 AM

correct...you'd get a 315/75r16 for a basic equiv to a 35x12.5

an 8" rim would be just fine for those and you'd also have better luck airing down on an 8 inch wide rim than a 10...less chance to slip the tire

i assume you've got a JK?

I'll be running 35x12.5's in the near future with 15x8 mickey thompson limiteds on my TJ...gotta get some money together first in order to do my steering and brakes at the same time

HebrewHammer 02-21-2012 12:28 AM

no no no no no........ tj
lol
rubicon

HebrewHammer 02-21-2012 12:30 AM

ok thats messed up the 315 is $50 more than the 35s

WTF

opcocrg 02-21-2012 01:22 AM

Tires for 15" wheels will almost always be cheaper. Not sure why though.

i have noticed that u would think they would be cheaper since they have less rubber.

Dgrimjeeper 02-21-2012 02:48 AM

Not related to your thread, but are you located in Winchester by the way of Frederick?

Well Hiya from FFX. :wavey:

I hop down 66 twice a week to Marshall to visit family, and hit Winchester every now and then.

Just wanted to say hi to another Jeeper in the commonwealth that's closer to NOVA than Roanoke or those riding around Arlington. lol :D

You'd think that lol...but nope!

Also, in case you havent looked into it already, you're going to need like 5" of lift, new brakes, and new steering to run the 35's...should also regear to 4.56 or 4.88 to not lose the power...oh, and a new speedo gear but those are cheap

yea i have been looking in to it allot and i think im gonna be good with the 410s i came from a 4cyl on 31s before that thing was a slug. and for lift im doing 4in or so of suspension lift plus 1.25in body lift plus a highline kit.

gotcha, yeah you'll be good to go for lift then to fit 35's but still gonna be kind of a dog with your current gearing

I'm running a 3.75" suspension lift (was a 3 but after settling i netted 3.75) and a 1.25" body lift with tube fenders and flat rears...my 32's look tiny

The problem i run into is that i dont want to upgrade my front axle and the lowest gearing i can put in is 4.88...with my 4 cyl i'll still be a dog but oh well, i dont do highway very often. Thats what my R6 is for lol
