squirley steering after trac bar removal??

i took my trac bars and sway bar off the other night. took it out and the ride is way better, but is it normal to get a floaty jerky steering now after doing this? it just seems like it pulls on bumps and whatnot. i just wanted to see if i had something wrong in my steering or if it was infact from this. thanks

Taking the track bars off of mine last week imroved the ride with no noticeable difference in steering or control. I don't think taking the sway bar off is a good idea if you drive on-road more than off.

Double check your tie rod ends, ball joints and suspension bushings. Track bars like to mask true suspension/steering problems.

What he said. If everything else is in good shape, it should lean more in the turns (like a Jeep should) but everything should feel predictable and not squirely.

yeah the leaning is fine and predictable. but its jerky in the wheel when hitting bumps. ill check all the ball joints and tie rods. thanks
