Well what have you run??? How big is your rig? Locked or not? Need info. There are trails open but we need to know what you have or want to do.

Oh, dude, do not get in Wanderlust's face. He will dirty your shorts :D

You're already sitting in one the best spots for winter wheeling. Yeah all the passes are closed but go bang on Carnage Canyon. That should keep you occupied till spring :whistling:

I got a wrangler sport with a rusty's 5.5 long arm lift 33's no lockers but winch equipped I don't think I can get down on carnage without lockers but am willing to try anything haha

Oldguy 02-23-2012 01:19 PM

I suggested Carnage as a joke.

How about listing some trails that you have run that you think are fun.

People can make suggestions based on that.

wanderlust 02-23-2012 05:03 PM

I'm not joking

wanderlust 02-23-2012 05:57 PM

Without lockers winter wheeling can be hit or miss. 5.5 lift and 33s on a Tj is going to be a bit tippy for some trails I run. Keep an eye here, we run alot of trails from bunny hills to solid, good, have to work a little trails.

I have done some pretty rough stuff but am definatly looking to improve I haven't had a huge tip problem with my sway bars disconnected but yea a lil top heavy lol let me know when you guys go I'm always in my one my buddies finally upgraded so ready to step it up

Well you can always do Chinaman's. It is passable pretty much all year. Fun trail and can still give you a challenge if you want. It is in my back yard so we run it alot. I have done it with open diffs and no winch. I was even running it with the original D30/D35 with 35" tires. No problem. It is a kick though. This weekend is a regear and a rear locker. YEA!!!

Lightningbolt88 02-24-2012 09:33 AM

Right next to Carnage Canyon. It is quite a bit easier. Both are about 5 miles from Buena Vista. Fun trail to go on though!!! :)

Lightningbolt88 02-25-2012 11:26 AM

I'll have to check it out in a few weeks

BV Jeep 02-26-2012 04:51 PM

I live on the West Slope now. Got some "sick" trails over here. Check out 21 Rd & Billings canyon. You can wheel either all year long.
