Three part roof

Read the book and took off the drivers side roof panel on my JKU and was wondering if you have to take off both sides or can you just run around with just the left side off?

What made me wonder is that though the right side still has all it's hardware in place, the front is only held on by the header panel latch at the windshield which is quite a ways from the unrestrained left edge of the panel.

:whistling: Strange--what happened to the "Thumbscrew", 4" outboard of the soundbar overhead light ??

That should be a forward/rear "T" top hold down and how did you take out the drivers side without removing "same" drivers side "thumbscrew" ??

Puzzling-

I can't imagine why that would be a problem. Just enjoy driving with the one panel off. The passenger side is still held by the windshield latch, the right rear 'L' latch, and its thumb screw.

The big rear thumb screw for the right panel is still in place and restrains the left side of the right panel quite well from the rear. I was more concerned with the front edge on the windshield that only has the single header panel latch.

Thanks guys! It's a balmy 72 degrees here today so may make a run around town with the drivers side off!
