What size wheels and tires are you going to go with?
Are you concerned with backspacing?
These 2 variables will narrow search.
I can't post pics right now but I like Gear Alloys "Blackjack" wheel.

Do you have a price range?

fourty4magjr 02-22-2012 11:15 PM

Steelies or alloys? What's the budget? If your looking for cheap Steelies I'd say cragar soft 8s I love them!

jmt27 02-23-2012 12:27 AM

Either 15 or 16s im open to everything planning on getting new tires also so everything open. i like the look of backspacing so im open to that too. price isn't that big of a deal I've been saving for a set for a while now

Steelies...I prefer Black Rock 952s. I have 16x10s.

Redsand 02-23-2012 01:55 AM

go 15s, 16 in tires are stupid expensive

Grateful Parrot 02-23-2012 08:22 AM

I'm staying stock and bed lining my wheels this coming week. More money to go other places.

Another option if you like the 15x8.5 size: Black Rock Part 9625851240 - Series 962 Desperado Wheel by Black Rock for Jeep

Check out the Ion 174's. I am going with those on my rubi lj

I like the M/T Sidebiters personally. 15x10. Thas the ones i ordered anyhow :P
Like the black streetlocks as well that are on my black TJ.

TheDesertOutlaw 02-26-2012 06:08 PM

My suggestions...

Black Rock Aluminum Alloys - these resemble the 'D' window slot wheels, but are Aluminum - providing a balanced ride for Radial tires. http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._7599236_n.jpg

ProComp Wheels - similar to the Sidebiter wheels, but with a faux bead lock feature.http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...62642161_n.jpg

15x8 MB TKO's with 31" Duratracs. I know the wheel is a personal preference, but I cannot say enough good things about the Duratracs. Quiet, good ride, EXCELLENT snow traction. Discount Tire hooked me up, even traded in my old tires

I have a black Jeep too and went with MT Classic IIs in black. I like them because they are nice and light and helps a little to offset the increase in tire size. The tire/wheel combo is even lighter than my stock alloys with 30s. I kicked around the steel vs. aluminum for a while and opted for aluminum so I wouldn't have to worry about rust and the weight savings.

There are so many choices. Everyone is going to suggest the wheels that they like or have.

I like mine. 15x8 MB72 alloy. Inexpensive, and easy to clean without a bunch of extra places for dirt and mud to stick to. Lighter than my old black steelies and balance way better.
