Check these bad boys out!

Rockridge 4wd has found the latest and most innovative mounting solutions for just about everything! Introducing Quick Fist® Clamps to our product line up is exciting and we know that our customers will think so also. These clamps are made in the U.S.A and are very affordable and will take the headache out of mounting so many oddball items like shovels, axes, flashlights, fishing poles, air tanks, jerry cans etc... These are all items we used to have to spend hours making mounts in our garages. Quick Fist® Clamps are made from heavy duty transportation grade rubber, and are not effected by hot or cold weather climates and they are U.V. resistant.

Now tell me you don't want to get you some of them!

OK guys, I got Quick Fist in stock and I started playing around with them last night. They are awesome. Took me all of 1-5 minutes to mount each clamp depending on where I put it. These things are awesome in so many ways its not even funny. You will notice that all I'm using to mount these are #10 Self Tapping Hex Head Screws and 1/4" Bolts with washers and nylock nuts. There will be a series of posts because of the amount of photo's I took. All of these are installed on a 2010 JK Unlimited. Sorry for the goofy items I was playing around with, it's because at 10:30 last night I couldn't figure out what I wanted to put where because its infinite. The mounts that are holding the flashlights and shotgun round :D are the MINI & can be found here.

Need extra interior lights? How about mounting one like below in your ol' CJ or YJ?

Gotta have a shovel for the kid! :thumb:

Attachment 100979

Yep, need a flashlight back there for when you need to dig through your tool bag...

The pipe is more of a demonstration to show that these can hold some weight. This is about 18" long and 1.75" .250 wall. I tried to budge it and its solid! One self tapper for each clamp. That's it!

Attachment 100980

If you mount your clamps right here you will actually be going through double thick sheet metal and its much more solid.

Attachment 100981

Clamps used for the pipe and shovel are the "Original Quick Fist" and can be located here on the website.

NEXT...FIRE EXTINGUISHER MOUNT WRITE UP FOR JKU without SUB. (Same principle applies with any rig...)

Attachment 100983

Start by removing the passenger tail light. Only 4 screws and you have complete access.

Attachment 100984

Next get a 1/4" Bolt about 3" Long and a washer and Nylock Nut. Be sure to use the included plastic washer. Mark where you want it and drill.

Attachment 100985

Easy Access to that nut and just tighten her up. You don't need to get crazy with the tightening. Just to where everything is nice and snug and the clamp feels "secure".

Attachment 100986

Check out your handy work & know that you are much safer & smarter! Take note that I butted the clamp up to where the body line comes out right before the tail gate.

Attachment 100987

INSTALL TIME 10 MINUTES

Question: I have a pair of these holding a shovel to my tailgate. The problem I have is that when I installed them, I wanted them tight so I tightened the screw on the first one a lot. The screw just squished and deformed the mount. So I didn't make the second one as tight, but now that one isn't as tight. It seems like you can't really tighten them down a lot since you're not mounting a solid object (as in its soft) So the back of the mounts don't sit flush against the mounting surface.

Based on your pictures, it looks like these clamps can be used successfully... what am I doing wrong?

Thanks

I'm guessing you either didn't use the included plastic washer and over tightened or just over tightened? Mine are really secure and most of them are only held in with self tappers.

Yeah I guess I lost the washers, but if I remember correctly, I used metal washers...
