Not for the 2.4l... Simpler just to clean them up and paint them as mentioned above. Then you can customize them to match your paint scheme if you want :thumb:

Yeah, they got gorgeous ones in cast aluminum but they are all for the 6. How hard its it to take it off and and put it back on? I know there are probably a few screws but there are always the unexpected, especially sealing it.

Make sure that the mating surfaces are clean before putting anything back together too! Then the trick is to tighten in stages following the recommended torque sequence... finger tighten the bolts, then run them to 1/2 of the final torque value. Final pass should be at full torque and you should have no leaks, providing the valve cover isn't "tweaked" from a previous repair.

Getting the factory finish off the cover is a PITA, ask me how I know.
Started out trying to sand blast and except where there was corrosion it just bounced off. Wound up using a stiff wire wheel on an angle grinder.
Why can't they make the paint on the outside stand up like that !
