How hard is an Aussie locker D30 to Install?

Just bought the locker, just wondering how difficult it is to put in. No experience with axles or diffs but I've seen a few videos online describing how to install it. How difficult would you say it is?

If you have no experience with gears and differentials, it would probably pay to have someone do it for you...Getting the preload on the bearings and shimming the carrier can be tricky. Alot can go wrong if the preload and shimming is off. As far as the locker, its not hard to put a ring gear on it, press the carrier bearings and install it, its just getting the other items correct that takes time and skill. It could always be a learning experience!

The Assuie is simple, there is no shimming involved. With the right tools it should not take more than an evening to install. No gear exp, required.
