best rack out there!

Gonna get a rack set up for my 05 LJ unlimited this summer. i have a soft top for now and want to get something that i cant put the top up and down with. i know garvin makes a pretty nice one. but is there any other quality racks systems out there you guys know about?

Vinman 03-02-2012 08:20 AM

I could post a pic of the best rack I've seen but I'm pretty sure I'd get banned for it:D

Seriously, I like the Garvin Wilderness rack. I like the way the supports are mounted to the back of the body and nothing protrudes out the sides. In our wheeling areas, anything hanging off the sides would be ripped off in the tight trails.

I'd love to see a few pics of racks where I can still put my soft top down? Please post up thanks!

My wife's need to be modified...Left side hangs lower. She doesn't think twisting it will make it better apparently. Don't think I want to trade them in for a newer model, so may just go aftermarket.

I have a Garvin G2 Series Bumper & Swing Away System with all the attachments and while I found their customer service to be very poor, the build quality of their gear is great. When I invest in a roof rack Garvin will be it.

I had to google Sofia Vergara. Guess I've been spending too much time in the barn.

bestop-product

Have it and love it. Comes with a basket for luggage, or you can throw your snowboards/surfboards/kayak up there. And when you wanna take the top off, the bars just slide on and off

I bought my Rubi with this rack Body Armor 4x4, I have yet to use it but feels sturdy.

How hard is it to put your top down with the body armor on?
