Love my rubicon - roof rack?

Hi all... I brought home my new 2012 rubicon wrangler unlimited in bright dozer color yesterday. It was really warm here in Indianapolis so we took off the freedom tops and the kids and I had fun buzzing around town in the sun. I have to say I've always wanted a wrangler but always bought sedans - and its even more fun than I expected. Anyone have suggestions for adding a roof rack for bikes, lumber, luggagge, etc?

Welcome aboard! Fellow Dozer --- do you giggle like a school girl when you get in and ride?

went with the gobi rack. Gobi Jeep with the quick release and the front insert. love the thing... full length rack, and still able to take the tops out, quick release to take the top off without removing the rack, low profile, and is compatible with Yakima/Thule snap-arounds Went with the stealth to keep the profile low, cut on the wind noise and I don't need the bit front end for lights. Because they are local, they installed it for me, and I had a chance to talk to the owner/designer. Class shop, class act and inquisitive on everything about the JK. A bit more expensive than your average rack, but worth every $$$$ . Check out the review at http://alphaexpedition.com/index.php...l?redirected=1

Be sure to get the ladder and faring if you go this route... next to no wind noise with the faring, and we have consistent 40+ mph winds we drive in out here

Welcome aboard! there are a few good rack companies out there. I know Gobi makes good stuff. May want to check out the Warrior rack too.
