I am a little new to JEEPs. Last year, I bought a decent 1997 TJ. I was trying to go with bigger tires. I found a good deal and I bought 5 rims and tires. Since you know, the TJ came with 15 inches rims. The rims I bought are 18 inches. I remembered the first time I got into the forum, I was asking how to fit those tires into my JEEP and you guys help me with the wheels adaptors suggestions. I barely drove my jeep as I mostly used it on summer time. I am starting to realize that my sharp turn becomes harder and harder. The tires are not rubbing against nothing but when making a sharp turn, the back tires start dragging and the whole truck start vibrating specially when backing up. When going forward in straight line, I never feel any dragging. Could it be the tires too big for the truck or it is a differential problems? Please help!

do you do any off roading? it sounds like some thing might have broke or came loose in side you rear axle. or maybe some thing that holds/stabilizes your rear axle allowing it to move.

I never do any off roading. I actually use my jeep on summer time for local/weekend driving. I don't know if the rear axle is moving, I will have a mechanic look at it as you know the weather is getting incredible good in NJ. So I gotta get ready.
