NEW 2012 Wrangler wheels/tires (5)

2 Attachment(s)
Selling as set (only 9 miles driven from dealer to tire store to mount my "different look"): 5 NEW Bridgestone Dueler A/T's (255/70R18) on 18 x 7.5 Gladiator cast aluminum satin silver wheels (this is the stock set on a 2012 Wrangler Sahara Unlimited). Kept in heated garage!

5 new tires would be about $1000 and the Mopar rims ($280 ea.) = $1400. So $2400 value. $1800 seems like fair price, but asking $1600 for everything. Give your 2007 - 11 or other 5x5 bolt pattern a new look! (I moved the TPMS's to my new set-up.) . . .

. . . you need to drive to Champaign, IL area (or if we can meet somewhere reasonably in between, I'll transport them for cash, cashier's check). Message me, if interested or questions. kaj kajepsen@ileas.org

Or make me a decent offer?

Jeppie 03-28-2012 01:24 AM

How about $1500?

No offense, but I sold a much better tire, and more desired rim for $1300. I think those stockers go for sub = < $800.

Good luck though. If that is too big a loss, you might be better off keeping them for road trip tires.

Yeah . . . none taken (offense, I mean)! I got the clue from the lack of response. I guess I was naiive, but the Mopar cost on the cast aluminum satin silver rims was supposed to be about $280, if you buy 'em outright. I figured the tires were about 200. I want to sell as set of 5. I realized I couldn't get anywhere near real cost, but I thought with just the 9 miles to drive home, then to Goodyear, these would be desireable for someone just wanting to quickly update wheels/tires on a Jeep -- probably not the readers here, who (like I did) are more likely to get more rugged looking stuff. In truth, those factory originals are nice (remind me of my Avalanche). I just wanted a Rubicon-like "trail look." Thus, the 33" Duratracs on black Pro-Comp Xtremes. Maybe I should keep them and drive them to New York in June! I hate to sit on them for long. Someone should get good use out of them. I can come down in price, I guess. A friend predicted $1000, even though he said they're "worth more." I'll probably settle for $1200 bottom. FIVE of them! Arghhh!

You will have better luck selling on CL for more.
They are a dime a dozen here
