goodyear mtr/ bfg km2 backorder info wanted

Anyone know about the back oder of either tire? I prefer the mtr over the km2.

Your best bet would be to contact a vendor. Discount Tire, or any that you prefer.

You might want to check other options out as I have heard they are gonna be on backorder for a long time. IMO there are better options out there anyway

The kevlars do fit my application price wise and what i use my jeep for.

I was going to get the KM2's but they were unavailable. My DT dealer called BFG, no news on when they would have them. I ordered a set of Cooper Discoverer STT's & love em. 35x12.5x15

hunteryj93 03-15-2012 07:19 PM

I do have a few tires other than the two on back order. My 33's are getting low on tread and im going to 35's.

Ibuildembig 03-15-2012 11:29 PM

x2 on the STT, I have ran them for years and I consider them the best all around tire hands down

hunteryj93 03-16-2012 01:02 AM

Ill consider the stt! Thanks everyone!

diligaf 03-16-2012 12:49 PM

Im running the dick cepek crusher in 35-1250-15 and love them! Sadly they dont make them in a 37" wich I need now my 35's are to small

hunteryj93 03-16-2012 01:47 PM

Are the crushers good and loud??

XJ Knight 03-16-2012 01:50 PM

Oh do they hum nicely or at least my experience with them they do.. Very nice offroad tire though..

hunteryj93 03-16-2012 01:51 PM

Thats what ive heard is they humm pretty good, the crusher makes me think of a milder bogger.

Mitchness 03-16-2012 02:38 PM

Another vote for the STTs. Went to them after BFG phased out the KM1s. Fantastic tire! Holds bead like a mother at low pressure, good grip, soft compound but w/great wear characteristics. Way better than those POS Toyos I see all the posers rolling around on.

I'm feeling luckier by the day :P

hunteryj93 03-16-2012 05:48 PM

Toyo mt sucks!!

Here's a pic of the Coopers. I think they're great tires from what I've read, heard & seen.

The crushers are a little noisy but not bad honestly my last set of tsl were louder they handle great on and off road not happy about having to sell them

hunteryj93 03-17-2012 03:00 PM

Whats the price range for the crushers? 35.12.50 r15 or what you guys paid.

diligaf 03-19-2012 06:31 AM

Im not exactly sure I got mine from a friend that owns a tire and automotive shop, it was way below retail

I love mine, I am glad they came with my Jeep when I bought it. I will be replacing them with the Coopers when the time comes.

IndyJeepMan 03-19-2012 11:32 PM

Look at trep's too. From Maxxis.

jsears 03-20-2012 09:12 PM

MTR/K's are a shortage in a lot of sizes. I heard that they weren't going to do 40's until October, and then a run of 37's and 35's sometime after that.

Just cause you found a killer deal on "unavailable" KM2's doesn't give you the right to Gloat! (However you spell it) I used to like you!
