Longarm7 03-18-2012 08:33 PM

Nothing? Not even a neutral comment? I thought it was a pretty nice Jeep.

Man... Thats a sweet Rubi
Love to have a TJR also :p

subtlez28 03-18-2012 10:53 PM

Wow, that is low miles! Nice Jeep!

Don't feel to bad, I put up a feeler thread about my 03 Rubi and haven't got much reaction either. I don't know what to think.

GLWS!

gas prices .....are killing jeeps

Longarm7 03-22-2012 11:28 PM

Bump... Just looking for a reasonable offer.

cubalz 03-23-2012 07:17 AM

That is a great price. If you can be patient, it will sell with the weather getting warmer and all...

Longarm7 03-23-2012 09:00 PM

Thanks for positive feedback guys. Hard to be patient when the blank canvas of my new JK is sitting in the garage waiting.

Moroney167 03-23-2012 09:32 PM

i think it's beautiful, but:

1.) not having full metal doors, those cost a fortune if someone wanted to upgrade to them (i priced them out and determined i need to not shop for jeeps without already having them).
2.) it's a 2004, i think the price "$18500" is simply too high for its year/age.

i almost bought a silver 2006 Rubi locally, priced $16.5k, i only passed because i wanted green if i could find it, i had to pay more due to my color-want because i had to look at nearby states.
most people don't care which color so general market conditions sets the price, i don't know your area but i'm near Lexington KY - it wouldn't fetch that here.

looking that good it will definitely sell, but price will more than likely be the variable. and when you're talking a vehicle over $10k, under $20k, going up and down by a couple hundred doesn't cut it, you have to think in increments of thousands. another jeep i passed up was because he thought coming down $200 mattered, it did not; coming down $1k on his would've mattered, and coming down $2k would've gotten it sold same day i drove it.

:)

Well the jeep came with some sub par full metal doors so I sold those and bought the fiberglass uppers which seem to make it just as air tight as the full metal doors would. And I would be willing to bet that 06 didn't have 25000 miles on it. Not to mention all the upgrades this one has. Most of the Jeeps even close to this are listed for around $19-$20000. I figured $18500 is someplace to start.

If I didnt already own two modded and one stock jeep I'd buy it.

sosner33 04-03-2012 12:11 AM

damn this thing is nice...the price is just a little steep

Longarm7 04-03-2012 10:07 PM

Okay, dropping price to $18000. I'm willing to bend a little.

vabeachmike 04-04-2012 05:21 AM

Nice Jeep! Good Luck!

gixxerphil 04-04-2012 05:41 AM

If I were in the market, I'd definitely give this one some thought
