Quadratec Aux Audio Kit

Hey have a question has anyone used this before Quadratec Exclusive JW-AUX-IN - Auxiliary Audio Input Adapter Kit for 97-06 Jeep® Wrangler TJ & Unlimited - Quadratec. Would like something i can hook my iPod to but don't wanna buy a new head unit since in the summer ill have my top down n doors off a lot so will be easy to steal a radio. I know quadratec makes a lock box thing that fits over the face so no one can steal it but i don't have money to buy that then a new radio dead unit so i thought maybe this thing would work without spending all that money just to hook up my iPod.

I have one I am not using and am in the phila area. Got a new head unit and I need to pull it out of the jeep but I may not be home for a while. Out of town on business.

I have my top down w an aftermarket head unit all the time. I live in the Kansas city area but I don't think it's such a prevalent thing that people will steal head unit face plates anymore! Just my 2 cents. And check craiglist you can find some cheap ones

I live in Philadelphia people are retorted over here they will steal anything thats not nailed down depending on where you park I would rather not take a chance. If my doors are off and its night time I'm sure someone who has the balls wouldn't mind jumping in and ripping the whole thing out not just the faceplate i was to work for toyota and someone broke into a brand new venza in front of the building and stole a couple GPS. Already had someone brake in my jeep and take stuff out in front go my house while my jeep was parked in my driveway and i live in a pretty nice area. Ever since that happen i don't wanna take a chance happen once.

I have my old head unit sitting in a box here. It's aftermarket and already has the proper wiring harness. You would probably need the antenna adapter but that would be about it. I think it's an iPlug or something. Let me know if you're interested
