AzTJ 01-13-2008 12:43 AM

4.0l sahara 01-13-2008 08:53 AM

Nice i like them. How many miles on your jeep i don't think i've ever seen it come out of it's cave. If you keep it in there long enoughf it'll be a collectors item.:p

nickeagle 01-13-2008 09:13 AM

mrbigjeep 01-13-2008 12:31 PM

jeeperman 01-13-2008 12:34 PM

Looks great! (even though we all know you don't care about that stuff:rofl:) Sorry, couldn't get it out with a straight face. Now, when do we see the pics of them getting used?

4point 01-13-2008 12:48 PM

Wheels look great! .......................................and they match that shiny exhaust tip. :D

MR.CLIFFORD 01-13-2008 03:30 PM

Man, should have done what I did and just had the wife do it. :D Beadlocks suck. But airing your Iroks down to 4psi is worth it. :D Your jeep now > black rims before.

Scotty355 01-13-2008 06:16 PM

Looks Great!!!
When did you put garage doors in the kitchen? :D

Scout 01-13-2008 08:24 PM

Thanks everyone. It was a mild pain in the butt but I'm glad I did it. My mission for the second half of the year was to increase traction. I think with the addition of beadlocks I should be there or damn close to there. :D

Andy, if you can figure out a way to get my wife to even touch my Jeep then the next round is on me. :D I can't wait to get it down to those low PSI's and see what this thing can do.

tiny terror 01-13-2008 08:45 PM

Nice Scout.

MR.CLIFFORD 01-13-2008 09:13 PM

Show her pictures for motivation.

Anya helped me strip the tires off my Hutchinson double bead locks. That! was a workout.

Scout 01-13-2008 09:14 PM

Damn, you're lucky! No way in hell my wife would do that. She doesn't even like going into the garage. :D

sgnellett 01-13-2008 09:19 PM

You haven't been out yet on those new tires, have you? All your pictures look like you cant fit out the door! It does look tuff!

No way his junk is taller than mine. I bet he has plenty of clearance. :)

Not yet. If there were a place to go around here I would. Every piece of land around here is owned my an oil and gas company and that makes it impossible to go anywhere. But, of course, even that is completely flat land. I literally live in the middle of freaking no where with no place to wheel. That's why I do the Jeep Jamborees. It at least gets me out somewhere (on private land) where I can see what it can do. The next Jamboree is two months away.

I have about two inches of clearance to the top. As far as I know my garage is standard height. Whatever that is. :D

Most standard garage doors are 7' to the top. I have around 1/2" clearance to my 7' garage door. I have to suck down the suspension to get it to fit with the soft top.

Swapping the coilovers and leaf packs?

MR.CLIFFORD 01-13-2008 10:43 PM

Just swapping leaf packs for a different set with a lower spring rate. Coilovers will stay the same. :)

Scout 01-13-2008 10:48 PM

So when are the rear coilovers going in?

MR.CLIFFORD 01-13-2008 10:53 PM

I've decided to stick with the leaf springs for a few more runs. I'm going to swap out leaf packs and swap leaf spring shackles which are 2 big limitations I have now. That should greatly improve my junk as it sits. If I can't make it work the way I want then I will swap out for the coilovers with a back half setup. That will all be done in my own shop. Which hasn't started construction yet. ;)

Scout 01-13-2008 10:55 PM

New shop? Oh cool, I'll ship my junk to you from now on. I need an oil change. :D

MR.CLIFFORD 01-13-2008 10:59 PM

As long as you ship yourself with it. :flipoff: You'll love my heated floors ;)
