squeeling noise

I've looked on here and can't find anyone with the same problem as me. I have an 05 wrangler unlimited that's automatic, after I have been driving for a few minutes when I let my foot off the gas I start to hear a squeeling noise from the engine. If I get back on the gas it stops. It won't do it if I'm idling only when moving. It seems like its coming from the passenger side but I really can't be sure. Any help?

Try it in 4hi and see if it still does it

If it doesn't do it in 4hi then search up "angry sparrows"

Thanks for the info, of course now that I'm trying to fix it it doesn't make the noise, but next time it does I will try in 4 hi and see if it quits, seems like an easy fix if that's the pro let though

Sounds like the centering joint (centering ball) on the front drive shaft CV, the end connected to the Transfer case. That's actually pretty common with Jeeps. It's more annoying than anything but it can be fixed. Unfortunately, there isn't a grease fitting on that joint though. Again, that's what it sounds like, I'm not guaranteeing that it is.

I just replaced all my u joints and the centering ball yesterday, with greasable ones now, and the centering ball dust cover was cracked
