Awesome products, amazing quality.
By far the best company making parts for Jeeps.

Casotakar1229 03-20-2012 10:59 AM

that rear bumper looks pretty awesome. good looking jeep.

strider_mt2k 03-20-2012 11:17 AM

Man they DO look good.
I haven't seen the rear bumper painted yet.

Love my Ace Rails.
I'm really leaning towards staying with Ace for bumpers. They look great!

R4D4R 03-20-2012 12:50 PM

Im waiting on pics of their tube doors. I may have to snatch up a set

sneck 03-20-2012 01:00 PM

damn you for getting yours first! I just got a call from a shipping company "yeah, we have 250 lbs of steel tubes, would you like it delivered tomorrow or thursday?"

wish I had a forklift >.<

Casotakar1229 03-20-2012 01:17 PM

quick question, how does the ACE rear bumper tire carrier lock and unlock? on the website I don't see the lever to open/close it...just curious?

Matador 03-20-2012 01:18 PM

Its linked with the rear gate, so anytime you swing open the rear gate the tire carrier moves along with it.

rs87277 03-20-2012 01:28 PM

All you need to do is open the gate with your door handle button. Its all connected with stainless steel linkage because the gate and the tire rack have two different pivot points. It is very smooth and sturdy.

Wow. I love my ace sliders but I never once thought about the front bumper. It looks great.

Edit: 136 pounds? Holy s***!

blackforestgreen 03-20-2012 06:13 PM

outstanding, how was the customer service?

rs87277 03-20-2012 08:42 PM

Looking at the Mega Front Bumper Thread most full width bumpers run between 110-130 lbs

stevebanzai 03-21-2012 09:17 AM

I did check that out, and this bumper is definitely on the higher end, weight wise.

136 before the winch..and skidplate.

EdCrbnSoul 03-21-2012 09:51 AM

Your right went back and looked only thing I can figure its using 1/4" steel instead of the 3/16" .

Sparkplugg 03-25-2012 04:35 PM

Say I want to remove the spare tire/carrier while driving around town and put it back on when off road. Is it possible/easy to remove and store?

no. I mean you could, but you would hate yourself for it. its only 4 bolts, but its 150 lbs, and youd have to remove the spindle or find a creative way to secure it, and so the time would be a huge hassle.

hwy1rubi 03-26-2012 08:59 PM

Your Rubi is looking great, what size wheels did you go with?

Are you planning on installing a wench?

rs87277 03-26-2012 09:14 PM

17 in wheels, 35 tires

rs87277 03-26-2012 09:15 PM

Winch is coming soon

RS,
Sweet looking JK. I really like your rails, I'm looking to get rid of my stock ones (can't stand that plastic), do yours act as a step as well, hard to get an idea of how much they stick out.

The ACE rails do stick out a bit and can be used as a step. They are usually paired up with the OE rubicon rock rails.

I can't wait to get my rear bumper. Already have the front. Just waiting for them to get finished. Lovin' the front.

Also like that they are local to me. Pick em up at the factory.

07XMan2Door 05-12-2012 10:13 AM

Very nice looking JK ya got there. Ace products are top notch for sure. Man that thing is purdy!
