If any of you on the forum have rolled your jeep before off road, does insurance cover the same if you were just driving down the road and got in a crash? Not that i want to roll my jeep by any mean!! Just curious. thanks:D

As far as I know most major insurance companies cover off road accident. There is a thread somewhere concerning the topic, and different jeepers were listing their insurance companies and whether they are covered. Hope that helps, and good luck.

depends on how your policy is worded. Also don't forget to get additional coverage if you have a ton a mods on the jeep. I have a stated value policy on mine, I think that is what's it called anyway.

I would assume it depends where the accident occurs. For example, say your own a fire road in New Jersey. They're legitimate legal access roads that are fully mapped and patrolled. But if I roll it in the backyard, I don't think I would be covered. But I don't exactly know.

That's a good question. Stupidity is generally covered under insurance such as forgetting to use your emergency brake and allowing your car to roll into a lake. But risky behavior might not be. I don't think drag racing is covered, for example, even on a designated strip.
Best thing would be to ask your insurance company. Better to know than to not know.

Stated value policies are a good idea for modded vehicles. but you will need receipts and photos to prove the value.

I rolled mine in 2009, it was not on asphalt but a named dirt road in the Mojave desert. The insurance covered it and according to the agent that was dealing with said it would have been covered as long as it was on a named/numbered trail also.
Not the most informative answer but it's something ;)

I totaled my 97 Tacoma off road and got more than what it was worth. I was about 20 miles from the nearest paved road and state farm covered everything
