best 2012 review that I've seen

Sorry if this is repost, but this has got to be the best review of the 2012 that I've seen. Autoblog takes a Sport S and really drives it like a Jeep, instead of so many other reviews that are mostly on road tests.

Outstanding review. Thanks for sharing. :thumb:

We need to remember this one for those threads that always pop up asking about whether the OP "needs" a Rubicon and whether their stock Sport/Sahara can "really" go offroad.

Great review. The trail climb video is a great testament to the 2012 Sport.

Bingo. While the 3.6 and the better auto trans is certainly an out of the box improvement, the offroad capabilities praised in the article would apply to somebody asking about their "new to them" stock 2007 JK.

Nice to know though that the off road capabilities aren't decreasing as they slightly change it year to year

I didn't realize that the 5-speed auto was a Mercedes tranny

:D Thanx MTH, I hope that I don't come across as a Naysayer-

I fully appreciate the improvements in the 2012, I just seem to be one of a few that try to curtail the "Holer than thou" attitude someof the "NEW" 2012 owners have that really rap on the pre 2012 jeeps--

Kinda like we did to the TJ's--:hide:

Good article, thanks for posting. I'm surprised how good the stock SR-A's did.

Casotakar1229 03-22-2012 11:34 AM

great read and that video was very entertaining. glad to see my little sport can hold its own in a lot of circumstances while being stock. a few additions and my sport will be running like a rubicon! :hide: :D
