K guys I found two 8.8 that I want to swap out my d35 one is out of a explorer and the other is out of a f150 both 3.73 what are the differences and what are some things to consider when swapping thanks for the info
And I kno I will have to weld on new brackets but what else
I was going to do a 8.8 also, but like you didn't want to go through hassle of fabbing to work, finding parts etc, d44 I got used every part I had on the jeep already, stock swap, easy as pie

Tell about it I was pumped then I saw the parts list and not so pumped anymore gonna pay a bit more coin and get a d44 wit locker and that's that
