help installing shocks

dose someone with the tools have time tomorrow of Saturday to help me install new shocks? i was going to do it when i did the lift but the bolt on the passenger side is rounded off so i couldnt get the nut off, a 12 pack of your beer of choice for the help?

If you can't find any closer help, you can bring it up here Saturday afternoon. Should be able to get them loose. Swearing a lot helps...

Oh yeah, soak all the bolts with penetrating oil today. That will help.

Thanks Ed, all te guys I work with when up to Breckinridge or something for te 4 day weekend so looks like I'll take up the offer. On my way to go get the blaster, some torx bits and stuff for home made discos

Ok, sounds good. We'll set something up tomorrow morning, probably meet up at the McD's in woodland park. That would be way easier than the screwball directions I'd have to give you :)

awesome. do you have a torx set so i can undo the sway bar bolt to put in the hardware for the discos? if not i can wait and get into the autocraft center on post. i think its a 50 or 55

Oldguy 03-23-2012 07:00 PM

Yeah, I should have one since I got mine off, replaced them with hex bolts.

brendend 03-23-2012 07:03 PM

awesome. now i just hope that its as simple as ive read, unbolt and replace... but last time i dried that it was far from that easy

Oldguy 03-23-2012 07:09 PM

Nothing is ever simple on a Jeep...

Oldguy 03-23-2012 07:21 PM

What time you thinking? 10ish work?

Oldguy 03-23-2012 11:31 PM

I was thinking more like 1:00 if you can live with that, I'm not even coherent at 10:00.

brendend 03-23-2012 11:37 PM

Oldguy 03-24-2012 10:23 AM
