rough or something didn't get put on right. seems kinda wierd. have you ever that tha BV or ed? is this something that is more common than I know about with a TJ? maybe I should check mine a little closer during my pre-trail-checks.

I've been checking em often since the lift, its been fine. I checked it today web doing the shocks, again it was fine. I baffled

anyone/

brendend 03-25-2012 03:29 PM

fixed it, hopefully. since the nut size is so weird no one stocks them and no one can order just the nut or nut and bolt so i replaced the bolt with a half inch grade 8 bolt with 3/4 6 point hex head with matching washers and bolt. hoping this holds

wanderlust 03-25-2012 04:52 PM

should be ok. thought it would of been a 9/16s tho

brendend 03-25-2012 05:10 PM

the factory bolt is 9/16 but apparently thats not a common bolt size according to every hardware and auto part store in the area, so i got the closest thing i could

brendend 03-25-2012 05:12 PM

o i thought you should know your rig has inspired the lift i plan on doing this summer

wanderlust 03-25-2012 05:16 PM

oh no.. I have inspired you to spend way to much money..

brendend 03-25-2012 05:18 PM

lol, ive done it on the cheaper side, only 2800 for the lift tummy tuck and flat fenders

No I have never had a LCA nut come loose at all. The torque on those is supposed to be like 100lbs or so. I dont remember on my TJ. I just did a complete axle swap in January and all of mine were still tight too. Maybe I shoud check them this week though??? Or not:whistling:. Either way it will be ready for Sunday.
