Are these ok for b/stops?

Are these ok & how would they bolt in,dont they usually just get pressed in?
Daystar KU09037BK 97-06 TJ Bolt In Extended Bump Stop, Front or Rear | eBay these more forgiving, here is the description.
EVS Foam stops use a proprietary Microcellular Foam material that provides a true progressive spring rate.

I cant see ebay at work but bolt in ones usually go in the bottom of your coilbucket. You just drill a hole in the middle of the axle mount for the could spring and bolt em on. I have the rubber puck kind. You can use hockey pucks that you can buy for like 2$ at most sports stores and stack em for adjustability. All you have to do is drill holes in them and get bolts long enough to work.

Thats prob the best way BUT for one,I dont have ant b/s at all,not factory, nothing.Secondly Im trying to avoid pulling the springs.Think drilling them could be done w/a 90 deg drill?

If you have NO bumpstops then you're probabably going to need adjustable one of some sort whether it be stock or something like the hockey puck method. In all reality, you'll probably need to weld new ones in. And you're going to have to pull the springs to install bumpstops. Just pull you're track bar and unbolt you sway bar and shock and I bet it will drop right out.

Ive got the cup, just no rubber b/s.

Wrangler06 03-25-2012 06:43 PM

The cup is what counts. The rubber thing is pointless..it is fully compressed when the axle is at full bump anyways

1jeeplvr 03-25-2012 07:03 PM

But I think Id want rubber there so the perch isnt slamming into the metal cup, right?

Wrangler06 03-31-2012 11:57 PM

Yea just make sure your measuring for bumpstops from the metal to metal..not rubber
