Not that many members running these wheels In tungsten JK-Uknowit and myself

Tires are the set of BF KM2's I found on CL. Only a few thousand miles. They're pretty much new. 35x12.5x15

Enjoy my crappy iPhone pics :)

Saa-weeeet. :D

So, how's that power loss treating you? Getting used to it, or dying for a regear?

Rock45 03-25-2012 05:30 PM

That looks excellent!

Michigunman 03-25-2012 05:31 PM

Wow, your Jeep looks/is awesome!

To be honest, I'm not sure they're dancing, so much as dry humping. C'est la vie.

You've done black Jeeps proud. :)

4fit 03-25-2012 05:35 PM

Very nice Ken.

kbwwolf 03-25-2012 05:35 PM

And I still say...if I hadn't found my ATX wheels, I'd want the ones you've got. Great lookin wheels, IMO. :thumb:

Well, quick answer would be "regear" lol

But-it's not all that bad. Last night after install, i wanted to lay on the gas and see what it does, that did not work too well.
I Had 150-200 lbs of parts/wheels in the back and that did not help.

1st gear builds RPM's slower but the jeep is slower haha. I can still start in 2nd if I am light on the gas, let it build up to 3000 and shift.
Highway is slower going but not too much different stock. I just have to keep the Rpms up. A lot more focus shifting for sure

4.10's are bare minimum in my opinion. Could not see it happening with 321 or 373. Even with a lighter setup like the KM2's and 15" wheels

That was the long answer but yes -a regear is planned :)

kjeeper10 03-25-2012 06:19 PM

And thanks fellas

Man I haven't been on in a few days and look what happens.

Links great man! Makes me really want the KM2s.

killerbee812 03-25-2012 07:06 PM

Looks good buddy!! :thumb:

Should have mine done in a few weeks. Are you planning on trimming the rock rails or do you think they will be fine?

ive been debating between those wheels in black and or some black bullet hole style wheels.
are those 3.25" or 3.75" bs?

Well, in no rush. Some say it looks close.
I've seen some setups where the seam is 1/4 away.

On my 2do list though :)

killerbee812 03-25-2012 07:19 PM

And did you get the spare? What did you decide for a carrier? Sorry for all the questions our builds are similer ,and i figure you would make a good guinea pig.:whistling:

The black looks awesome too.

They are 3.75

Spare... Yes!!

Carrier ...... No :hide:
Looking into option now. Might even be able to fab something at work that uses the hitch to mount a support.
I really want to do a swing away buy they are awfully expensive.

kbwwolf 03-25-2012 07:24 PM

Your pinch seam is a LOT closer than mine was. Gonna have to take the Rubi rails off and cut em, too.

It's a little over an inch. Pic looks closer.

But I will.... I can remove at work and use a cutting wheel, clean up the edge and coat/paint.

gluestick 03-25-2012 08:27 PM

I think they look better with one tire showing the white raised lettering and the rest turned in :whistling:

Daaaaaaaaaaamn I love those wheels. kbwwolf turned me onto them a week or so ago and they are awesome. Looking good man. :thumb:

I am very jealous right now. A couple more weeks and I'll feel that joy you're feeling of having some brand new shoes :D

Casotakar1229 03-25-2012 10:32 PM

such a great look, those 35's...what is the current gearing you're running? I saw you said 4.10's would be your min but not seeing this set up working with 321 or 373. just curious. (you're making me die over here with those pics)

Wheels go up and to the rear, anyway. But you're gonna need to cut. Make your bro do it, while he recites, "15's rock, 15's rock, 15's rock..."

hbgirl 03-25-2012 11:19 PM

Looks great! Can't wait to get mine (but in black) and 33's installed next weekend. :)
