Ideas for club activities?? :)

Kinda coincides with the last post I just posted. The club I took over has been inactive for years and want to get it up and running. Only places to wheel around here is about 2-6 hours away. So a few runs here and there are in the works, but what other things I can do to keep it active and fun. We will have monthly meetings, cruise nights, and ever Sat meet up at a dive through to chill out and show off the rigs. Planning on a picnic or two this summer, but starting to run out of ideas after that. :( Any help would be great.. :thumb:

I guess you could allways build a RTI ramp and make a day out of scoring all the rigs in the club?

Here are some ideas

Adopt a charity. The club I'm in helps out at a boy's home over Thanksgiving and Christmas, as well as taking those kids that are interested on short trail rides. Of course, since the closest OHV park is a couple of hours away, they had to find some private land to wheel on. We also are working at the Warrior Dash in the area, as well as posting the route for the Dirty Kanza bike race this year. I know that some of the members did some work for the Mecum Auction, when it was here. Also, some of them got involved with the KC Auto Show.

Last year, we also did a night at the drive-in, if you can find a drive in. Some of us would meet up for dinner and then caravan to the drive-in. We also did a meet and greet at the local Cabela's this year. Once you get established, check with the local Jeep dealers, see if they might be interested in sponsoring some kind of event. The big thing is to check with the members and see what they want to do.
