tires and wheels for my jeep

I have decided to purchase a set of BFG KM2 31x10.5x15
I have a stock 1997 jeep wrangler tj with no lift or anything and I'm going to purchase another set of rims to go with these new off road tires but I have some qustions...
1- I want to know how bad they are going to rub....?
I can make a small modification on my steering stop to avoid a lot of rubbing
2- what rims have enough backspacing and offset it needs for these tires to fit comfortably...??
3- And if I have no choice but to lift my jeep, what is the easiest 2"-3" lift to get for only offroading?
( preferably a lift kit that is easy to put on and take off)
also the reason I'm getting these other wheels and tires are just to swap out when I feel like going off roading :)

1. Shouldn't have to worry about rub unless you have the factory steel wheels.
2. Factory alloys are at around 5" of backspacing. Which should be adequate.
3. The simplest 2" lift is either a 2" budget boost or 2" springs. You will need to make sure bumpstop and shock lengths are addressed, but you shouldn't have any or many issues with fitting a 31 10.50 stock. That is what came on the rubicons stock and rubicons sat at the same height as all other tj's.

Km2's are awesome. Enjoy!

Hell yeah lol thanks bud appreciate it
The wheels I have now are the gambler 15" but I buyin some different 15 inch rims for my new tires
I'm just gonna swap out wheels in my shop when I feel like playin so hopefully these new tires last me a very long time
what rims would you suggest that would fit?

15x8. And I would stay 4.5 to 5" backspacing. They will stick out entirely too far if you go lower.

Ok thanks a lot for the advice :)

Please do some additional research though. I am by no means an expert. Hopefully a couple more posters can add some advice. I ran 31 10.50's stock.

31x10.50 tires will fit fine stock . May rub the lower control arms at full turn but u can put a couple washers behind the steering stops ti fix it. 15x8 would be ideal with 4inch backspacing. you dont need a lift but i think two inches if lift looks perfect with 31s :)

Ok I am considering a small 2 or 3 inch lift and I am gonna use the washers as well if I need too
much obliged :)
