How would you act?

If you knew the date of your death?

Dare2BSquare 01-20-2008 10:23 PM

I'd probably skip work that day.

AzTJ 01-20-2008 10:28 PM

Hey Lev, your into anime aren't you? Have you been watching Death Note?

4point 01-20-2008 10:40 PM

Thats an odd question Lev.

Death should only come easy to those who can't fight it, I'd fight it.

Smeghead 01-20-2008 10:40 PM

I dont believe in fate at all. The future isnt set. If you "know the date of your death" does that mean you can jump of the Empire state building tomorrow and NOT die?

But you will eventually lose.

tiny terror 01-20-2008 10:45 PM

Losing to it doesn't mean you have to go quietly. Blaze of glory and made the front page.

Dare2BSquare 01-20-2008 10:55 PM

There is nothing wrong with living a full life and then being ready and willing to let nature take it's course and slipping away quietly. Your family and friends and the important people you impacted will remember your life, not the way you went out.

tiny terror 01-20-2008 10:59 PM

Didn't say there was Dare, you die the way you want and I'll go out the way I want. Either way, we're both dead..... and I don't care if or how I'm remembered long as I can look at myself in the mirror and know I've done no harm before I go.

binaryking 01-20-2008 11:05 PM

Well that would sure blow my diet out of the water.

Only old age or the ability to not fight will take me. Yes we all die sometime Dare but we don't lose in doing so.

foxinthemudd 01-21-2008 03:05 AM

Smeghead 01-21-2008 03:19 AM

If you knew someone elses death date would you tell them

02Prove 01-21-2008 07:22 AM

I'm thinking nobody better not cut me off in traffic that day.

sgnellett 01-21-2008 07:26 AM

"Life's journey is not to arrive safely to the grave in a well preserved body,
but rather to skid in sideways in a stolen Ferrari totally worn out, shouting Holy Shit... What a Ride!"

I'd suggest it. It's a very good story, but you'd need to start from the beginning as jumping in anywhere would confuse the hell out of you. You can catch it on AdultSwim on Saturday nights... and might be able to watch all current episodes on their web site.

I skimmed over the site when you mentioned it. Whats the plot?

I may have seen it and just didn't recognize it from the pictures on the home page.

Now that's a coffin!!! :D

Just sayin, I'd rather be buried in that than some expensive mohogany box!

Meant no disrespect to the Rubicon!!!

MOz 01-22-2008 01:29 PM

Absolutley... I told my wife I finally found the place I wanted my ashes to be spread around - Rausch Creek! It's a Jeep lover's paradise.

whitebuffalo 01-22-2008 01:48 PM

i would make arrangements with a taxidermist to have me stuffed so i can be placed on the couch after I'm dead. they could decorate me for different holidays.....santa hat at Christmas, jack-o-lantern at halloween, etc.
