Wanted: Carburetor for 4.2 6 cyl..
 
Im looking for a used carb for my 1990 YJ. Something without issues. Respond if you have or know of anything available, Thanks.

You can go to a salvage yard and grab a MC 2150 for $15-30 and rebuild it.

X2. Runs way better than the Carter & only needs a 15 dollar adapter, cheapo air cleaner & an extension bracket for the throttle. You can reuse choke, etc. I put one on mine & it rocks! Perfect starts, great power & better MPG. Win/Win.

Google MC2100 Jeep...or 2150. There are acouple good write ups out there.

Mine runs fine in the Illinois winters although it didn't get super super Alaska cold it worked fine. Just make sure you warm her up or she will be angry to drive lol.

I have a carter carb from an 89 YJ. It ran ok but I would clean it since its off of the engine. It belonged to a friend of mine. He switched to a 4 barrel carb and intake. I traded him some other parts for the carb. I will sell it for $35 shipped. Send me a pm if your interested.
