My Rubi is 2 weeks old...

...so what do I do?

The squeeze

Heart attack

This thing is awesome!

Did I make some mistakes? yes. Did I lose some paint underneath? yes. Do I care? Nope.

4fit 04-02-2012 05:03 PM

Sweet! That is a damn tight squeeze.

steed77 04-02-2012 05:03 PM

SWEET!!! That looks like a blast!

rics1997 04-02-2012 05:07 PM

No way i would be standing in front of you like that guy on Heart Attack hill

ESP 04-02-2012 05:17 PM

Nice. You handled the squeeze very well.

strider_mt2k 04-02-2012 05:28 PM

Well done!

I kinda wish we had country like that around here.

snikt 04-02-2012 05:33 PM

Here you go -- All I would have the balls to do on this trail is to hike it though

TrailDamage.com - 21 Road

That is nutso! I don't think my poor stock Rubi would have a chance on that. Maybe in a few years when I have a better equiped Jeep and more than one outing under my belt.

Stock rubis can do that. You don't "need" mods as much as most think.

Rock45 04-02-2012 06:11 PM

Both those videos were awesome...not sure I would have the nerve to do the squeeze with a brand new Jeep unless someone was chasing me! LOL

Chuck210 04-02-2012 06:47 PM

Sweeeeeet!!!

jeepkingtn 04-02-2012 07:49 PM

That's awesome!

That's north Jersey.

Common mistake. ;)

My family comes from south Jersey, been there a few times. Flat, but lots of forested land. Very different wheeling experience I would imagine.

Desert is great, I love it, but I do need to drive up north into the mountains and do some wheeling amid the trees. That would be awesome too.

CiDZillA 04-03-2012 11:20 AM

Nice videos man! I'd love to run in country like that. I get the flat woods up here mostly.

meghanca 04-03-2012 11:30 AM

That is awesome!! Nice driving! Can't wait to get on the trails once mine is delivered...

Cons_Table 04-03-2012 11:34 AM

Looks like you have got the skill down. The camera man is just doing his job. We never get credit for any of these videos. There is no safe way to film crazy.

Preston777 04-03-2012 12:03 PM

Ive been trying to take a trip up to Pinyon!
are you in san diego?

Raziel 04-03-2012 12:13 PM

Very awesome!!!! Very good job on that. I want to have some fun with my beastie. Haven't gotten the chance yet, nor a chance to remove the tops. But, I would need to start out on some basic courses first. And then some upgrades to do the advance courses.

I like what the cameraman said, "stay straight" in that worry tone. Good job to all!!!

Do a youtube search on "Heart attack rollover". You will see what happens when someone didn't stay straight. We were discussing the vid before I went down, so he was just reinforcing the lesson.

Hardest part is just starting. You have to drive blind until you rotate enough to see down the hill. Mirror relocation brackets moved higher up the list so I can take the doors off next time.

Casotakar1229 04-03-2012 12:38 PM

yea, I bet that is quite a rush not being able to see anything over the first part...
