body lift question? already have 3 inch suspension.

I have a 06 Jeep wrangler unlimited Rubicon with a three inch suspension. If I get a 1 inch body will I need a new double cardan drive shaft. I know for unlimiteds u need a new one around 4 inches and with a Rubicon u don't need a slip yoke Eliminator just a double cardan drive shaft. If I have a total of 4 inch lift with 3 inch suspension and 1 inch body will I need new shafts. I think so but just want to confirm. And would I need new front and rear shafts or just rear. Thanks

A body lift will have no effect on your drivetran. It simply lifts the body away from the frame. A suspension lift creates space between your axles and frame..

Cool so no need for longer shafts now that I think about it it makes sense sometimes u just have to think out the whole problem thanks

If you wanted to do a tummy tuck after your body lift, then you might need a new drive shaft...
